| Supplier Award 2009 / 2010 - Reifenhäuser Honours its Best Suppliers |

This year, on the 11th of February 2011, the Reifenhäuser Machine Company has presented for the ninth time the Reifenhäuser Award to the best suppliers of 2009/2010 of Reifenhäuser Extrusion, Reifenhäuser Reicofil and Reiloy Metall.
With this award, Reifenhäuser honours excellent performance, superior commitment and important contributions leading to the success of the Reifenhäuser companies and their customers.
As in previous years Reifenhäuser judges with its continuous performance rating of the supplier management systems a strategic supplier evaluation to rate its business partners who account for a total of 95 percent of the Reifenhäuser Group's procurement volume in terms of value. The rating includes quality, delivery reliability, cooperation as well as innovation. For this last period of time approximately 260 suppliers were rated, whereof 39 % have achieved the top rating "excellent".
From this group of top suppliers, seven Award winners were selected by an internal jury consisting of representatives from the purchasing department, quality management department as well as of the executive board:

On 11.02.2011 the winners of the Supplier Award 2009/2010 have received the award at the company site in Troisdorf. Dr. Jochen Hennes, Managing Director of Reifenhäuser Extrusion (first from left) and Jörg Stolz, Purchasing Director (first from right) thanked for the excellent long-term partnership.
The winners of the award have consistently excelled with special performances in the project businesses of the Reifenhäuser companies. This sustainability is very important to Jörg Stolz, head of the Purchasing and Material Management Department. "We are interested in a long-term partnership. For that reason, we do not award ephemerals, but in particular medium-sized suppliers, who provide us frequently with their products and services. The winners have succeeded in convincing us of their high commitment for Reifenhäuser and in fulfilling the individual requirements of special machine construction: small quantities and short delivery times."
Presented once a year, the Reifenhäuser Supplier Award is intended to honour excellent suppliers and motivate all other suppliers to the group of companies to improve their performance. The increase of suppliers rated with "excellent" by a further two percent this year shows that the companies are on the right way.
