Best Suppliers of the Year Honoured by Reifenhäuser for the 8th Time |
Reifenhäuser GmbH & Co. KG presented its Supplier Awards 2007 to selected top suppliers of the Troisdorf company for their excellence in product quality, delivery reliability, service and cooperation.
From a total number of 198 rated companies covering a procurement volume of 95 %, 37 % reached a "very good".
The award winning companies are:
- Ernst Adams GmbH, Oberwesel
- AFS Entwicklungs- und Vertriebs GmbH, Neusäss
- H. Pepping GmbH & Co. KG, Cologne
- Blumenbecker Autom. Techn. GmbH, Beckum
- Plastic Service GmbH, Mannheim
- Anton Klein GmbH, Hennef
Klaus Reifenhäuser, company CEO of Reifenhäuser GmbH & Co. KG Maschinenfabrik, and Jörg Stolz, Head of the Central Purchasing/Materials Management Department, expressed their thanks for excellent performances and superior commitment. The awards shall also be a motivation for the companies to give their best in the future and contribute to a long-term partnership with innovative ideas.
In his statement, Klaus Reifenhäuser explained that in particular the demands for quality, processes and innovation will increasingly gain in importance in the future.
Said Jörg Stolz: "Your performances shall also be an incentive for other suppliers to strive for being awarded the next time." As an effect of the supplier awards, the percentage of suppliers rated "very good" has been considerably increased over the past years which is in line with Reifenhäuser's strategy to cooperate with the best suppliers of a product group.
Reifenhäuser is one of the globally leading manufacturers of machinery and equipment for processing of thermoplastic materials. In addition to lines for production of classical packaging materials, e.g. for foodstuff, the portfolio includes lines and concepts for value-added nonwovens for the hygiene industry and lines for production of strapping tapes and artificial grass. WPC lines for production of profiles from wood polymer composites have been added as an innovative business segment.
The Reifenhäuser Group comprises four production facilities and distributes its products via a worldwide network of own subsidiaries, service stations and agencies. Reifenhäuser employs about 750 persons at its Troisdorf site. The whole group has a workforce of about 1200 employees.
